90s TV Show About a Police Dog

    I remember when I was a kid there was a series on TV (most likely The Den) about a police dog who was seen as the hero of the show. I think he was a German shepard. The series was possibly Australian or American.

    Does anyone remember this or what it was called?

    The Littlest Hobo was about a German shepherd, but not sure it was a police dog..

    Something like Rin Tin Tin is in my head after reading that question? Think that was the name of the dog though.

    the adventures of rin tin tin is an old tv show - unless they did a remake.

    quick search online.... there was "Rin Tin Tin: K-9 Cop" tv show also known as Katts and Dog where Canine Officer Hank Katts had a dog called Rudy

    My first thought would be "Katts and Dog",seeing as it featured a police dog-Alsatian/German Shepherd.I only remember it being on Sunday evenings though.The dog's name in the programme was Rinty,short for his real name Rin Tin Tin.

    The Littlest Hobo wasn't a police dog. Hobo was an asshole. He'd befriend vulnerable people and gain their trust then disappear and piss off to the next town once the person thinks he's made a new friend in a dog he can rely on. Once they realised Hobo was just another dog who was full of bullsht and never coming back, they would take to the bottle and become a worthless homeless wreck again.
