Does anyone have any recommendations for Hotels, Guesthouses etc in Ireland that have their own lake in the grounds? Ill be going on a short break with the Mrs soon and I like the thought of staying somewhere that I can wet a line within a few mins walk.
I'd probably just spin for pike but i've other options tacklewise too

If your willing to spend the money them castle Leslie is place for you. I keep telling myself to go. I booked it once and had to reschedule and something always comes up when I wanna go again.
Anyone I know that's been says its unreal.all pics I've been shown are pike over 15 or 20s.
Well looked after lake with some monsters lurking. Perfect time of year to go too.

Also an "if you're willing to spend the money" spot - but this place is the absolute business!

Seriously gorgeous hotel, fabulous food, beautiful walks around the estate, and from what I hear (although I know NOTHING about fishing) great fishing as well.

Ballynahinch Castle is mostly river fishing. It's a great spot.

Also, Lough Inagh Lodge in Connemara has some good lake and river fishing for salmon and trout.
