Can anyone recommend a USB tuner that is certified with Openvix images on the Vu Uno for Saorview?

    Dont do it!

Use Blackhole OE2. Most DVB-T sticks run out of the box.

    I switched for this reason.

    I use an IT9135 €7.

You could also use a Play TV device.

Yeah, but then I'd have to use BH!! Which I used to always use but Vix is sooooo much better!!

The epg in the background is better on Vix. Definitely, but the skins speed and out of the box working dvb-t stick on Blackhole, so much better. I have tried a lot of images!

    Everyone to their own.

What are the packages like on BH? I am pretty sure Perl wasn't in the repo the last time I used BH. I have a lot of custom scripts and daemons running that depends on Perl. Any chance you could dump an "opkg list" for me!?

hi I got this one on ebay and it works on my solo2 on vix http://www.ebay.ie/itm/DVB-T-fr-LAPTOP-PC-MINI-DIGITAL-TV-Tuner-USB-Stick-HDTV-/270801105594?pt=UK_Computing_Video_Capture_TV_Tuner_Cards&hash=item3f0d00f2ba and you will need one of these as well http://www.ebay.ie/itm/RF-Coaxial-to-MCX-Antenna-Rooftop-Adapter-DVB-T-TV-/370520668780,you will then need to download the right driver from the feeds in vix, 913x drivers from plugins,,i plugged it in 3 or 4 times and vix never detected it but I tried it a week later and restarted enigma2 and the tuner was detected and worked fine, regards

I use the PCTV nanoStick T2 in my DUO2 and it works 100%.
Had used the Sundtek and wintv nova-t and they were both a disaster (for me anyway).

The only downside is that there are 2 muxes in use in Saorview and its not the cheapest tuner to buy a second one...

Would recommend it though on experience...
