J1 Internship Time Limit

    Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I've been pressing CIEE for clarification on what will happen should my 90 day limit to secure an internship expire. They've so far been super evasive, mostly telling me I have "plenty of time" and "not to worry". While pressing one of their representatives, she mentioned that an extension was possible should this situation arise.

    Does anyone have any experience of this happening and what happens after the 'limit' is reached? Thanks in advance!
