Mortgage approval - how long is it good for?

    Once approved when does it lapse? 3 Mths? 6 Mths?

    Ring them and ask. Typically it's around three months but this could and does vary from bank to bank and even between individual cases.

    I am with BOI w ehave mortgage approved etc we have went sale agreed on a house 12 weeks ago and nothing much happening since and we were worried about having to re apply but they told us that it would stay on the system for six months. And if we did have to reapply we would have to show proof that we are still working etc nothing major.

    just got one with ulster a few months ago, it was 3 months

    AIB were 3 months, but I think its now 6 months
