Has anyone received any letters from DCU yet after accepting their round 1 offers?

Your question is answered in the DCU Freshers Group on Facebook. I would suggest you join.

Does anyone know what the story is with the "Proof of grant from SUSI"? What do I have to bring? Will SUSI send me a letter soon saying my grant application was accepted?

You should get a letter saying you were accepted for the grant and how much you get thats the best letter to bring but whatever the last letter you got off them will do

I presume I will get this in September as I didn't get anything like this yet. I remember getting text that my grant was provisionally accepted or something like that.

Bring any letters you have from SUSI - do a print screen of your status and bring it

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

For anyone who might be in a similar situation like me, I got a response:

"Applicants who opted for the CAO opt in, Can use the Provisionally Awarded (CAO) e-mail to indicate that they are within the grant application process with SuSi."

I have been onto SUSI a few times about this. I got the provisionally accepted text from them, but they said they were waiting for the CAO to send them confirmation that I got accepted, so I gave it a few weeks then got back to thmem and they said that CAO still hadn't got onto them, so I sent them in a copy of my CAO acceptance slip and called again a week later and they said that there is nothing else for me to do, that it was between them and DCU now so im not to sure what the process is now.

The process is that DCU have to send them some evidence of attendance and they will not start payment until this happens.
