    Ring them. Guarantee they have lost the paperwork. Having a LOT of trouble with them at the moment, got some useful advice from some boardies here

    Call them straight away. Ask for an extension on the MC if it is needed urgently.

    I'm pretty sure you have to send in a renewal form yourself, it's downloadable from the hse.ie site. It takes up 14 working days IIRC but since it's a renewal not a new application they'll be able to give you a temporary number over the phone if it's urgent.

    Well you have two options the first is to be inactive and hope they renew your medical card and the second is to be active and ring them and find out what the story is.
