Parking in Burnaby area

I was wondering if parking regulations in the area of Vincent's Road, Portland Rd and Somerby Rd have been changed.
Recently I counted 6 poles on Vincents Road with no signs, 7 with signs, One ticket machine still standing that is broken and 1 or 2 removed altogether.
A similar situation on Portland Road; at least one machine gone and 2 poles with no signs.
And on Somerby Rd no ticket machine and 1 pole with no sign.
While I am aware that motorists did not use these areas for parking as was expected by the council, perhaps they should now be restored to the situation that existed before pay and display was introduced.

Like anything once passed by vote, they'll probably need to give notice prior to any amendments of the parking regulations - I haven't seen anything proposing changes recently.

If they revert to normal parking without pay and display, then people will park and walk the shorter distance to the train station! I think there are a handful of cars that park just up a bit on Portland Road for this purpose where there's no P&D?
