Love the dress, I had something very similar for Christmas nights out a few years ago and I wore it with red suede peep toe stilettoes, but that really does scream Christmas!
I'd go for black in another texture to play up the different textures in the dress, for example these patent ones have a bit of detail that echoes the shape at the top of the dress http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Aldo+Kazik+court+shoes/184959143,default,pd.html
Or you could go with a really classic black court like these http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Karen+Millen+Patent+court/188790981,default,pd.html
For a pop of colour I would go for something with a black base plus another colour (rather than a fully bright coloured shoe) to let the dress do the talking, it would be a pity to overpower it with a really statement shoe!
Maybe I'm just being really safe and boring, looking forward to seeing other suggestions!

Snap! Bought one last week at the Kildare outlet. Fab dress. Now all I need is somewhere to wear it.

I had been thinking silver sandals, but not not sure.

It's a black dress, you could wear pretty much anything with it!

    Fab dress btw.

I think if its a wedding maybe go classy with the accessories, some pearls would go awesome or even like a newbridge silver neck piece.

Lovely dress though and its pretty much a blank canvas so sky is the limit really :)

Not pearls with it....as it has the funky zips down the sides which would not work with pearls....a newbridge piece might work and pick up the lovely metallic in the dress. Cant wait to wear mine now, just need an occassion
