sky+ and Freesat

Hi,
I have a new Sky+ box(black & silver - dunno the make) and was just wondering how I can access Freesat through this?
With my old white sky+ box I just took out the Sky card and turned off the power at the mains, and it loaded up Freesat automatically.
I rang and asked Sky Tech support but they weren't very forthcoming with any info.
I just wanna get bbc radio 6, and this isn't available through any Sky subscription!

Add them to "Other Channels" they are fta. Sky receivers are a little long winded to use for other than Sky.
Here's a list of frequencies for radio channels available on Astra 2.

Technically it's not Freesat you're getting on the Sky box. Freesat is just an EPG on branded devices. You're still seeing the Sky EPG and on the old white box it reverts to a UK region EPG. On the newer black Sky+ boxes they rem. (I think) the last region card in them so won't revert back to the UK EPG but still show the Irish EPG.

Using the new Sky+ box with or with a subscription, to get BBC radio 6 you'll have to manually add it in in "Other Channels".
