emigrating tax refund

    hi,

    does anyone know how much if any tax can be claimed back if emigrating? i was working as a self employed contractor but have recently finished

    You will have to submit a Form 11 for 2013 including your income for the year. On the basis that you have not paid any that yet not sure how you are going to get a refund.

    thanks for the link, great info there.
    sorry i should have being clearer in my original post, what i meant was that i'm going to pay my 2013 taxes as normal at the end of the end but if i didn't find work in the first few months of 2014, could i claim any of my taxes paid in 2013 back if i left the country

    In fact depending on your year end and profit levels you could end with a higher tax bill. Seek professional advice.
