Hi there. I'm thinking about doing a trip to Liverpool which would see me and hopefully one or two others cycle from Holyhead to Liverpool. Just wondering has anyone else done this before, and if so how long would you need to do it, how difficult would it be etc etc.Trip would be taking place in november. thanks for any info anyone can provide

I have cycled most of the route its about 150km and not that difficult. A lot of it is on cycle paths (Sustrans route 5 I think) then turn at Chester. It would depend on your average speed as to how long to allow.

Did Holyhead Birmingham via Chester last year. North Wales is doable, but if on a road bike then use as wider a tyre as possible. Sustrans route was okay, but I did loose it a few times.
