No Engine Management Light but 7 fault codes

I tried out an OBD reader on my car today (07 s40) and found 7 faults, none of which brought on the management light. 3 that got my attention were crankshaft and camshaft position sensor fault. If a fault is ever logged on these sensors, will it stay on the ECU until cleared by diagnostics. I have no idea how long they have been logged as I have never ran diagnostics on this car before.

Another fault was P0313;Misfire Detected with low fuel P0171-System too lean
Thought this was strange. Never seemed to have any misfiring problems

The faults are stored in the ECU. I normally clear them and check again after a few day driving to see what's comes back up.

Have you owned it from new? Could be faults fixed by previous owners or once offs from disconnecting a sensor.

Thanks. I figured they would be stored alright. I just remembered when the alternator failed I disconnected a lot of things. Could be from that
