wondering if it is possible to put new veneer covering on kitchen doors? I have an apt and most of the veneer on the doors is lifting. Would it just be cheaper to replace the doors?

well I had a fire in our rental place and the sides of two of the presses are lifting - my OH says he can pull the veneer back over the door and glue it down again...I'm looking for replacement presses, there's a sticker stuck to the top of one of the presses so I'll know where to get them - but I have priced some other places...woodworkers.ie seems to be good value - and b&q have a good range...
http://www.abbeywoods.ie/veneers.htm might have the veneer you need....
also check what type of doors you have - is says here http://www.colinmitchellcarpentry.com/kitchen-doors/4548842929 that vinyl wrapped presses usually have to be replace...
let me know how you get on.

Cheaper to just replace I'd say.

Replace the doors. Definitely cheaper than re-veneering, plus you can give the kitchen a facelift. Was in your exact situation recently.
