I have two LightwaveRF dimmers in the house and so far I am very happy with them. I am considering to fit additional devices (more dimmers, power sockets, radiator valves and energy monitor).

Is anybody using LightwaveRF? Any good/bad experience?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I've been using this system for the last two years. For lighting and hot water heating.
    I've not had any problems.

I bought one peice at a time and now have the all lighting controlled by LightwaveRF.

It's expensive to buy here. I'd suggest buying it from their .co.uk site and using Parcel Motel.

Check out LightwaveRF Community. There a fourm on the site with a lot of information.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

    Thanks Spiessig.

Any chance you are using LightwaveRF dimmers with LEDs? People seem to report mixed results, even with the recommended LEDs:

No I haven't - hate the light from them to be honest. So still using normal bulbs.

From reading through the fourm there are issues with some of them but I think they run a thread on compatible bulbs.

    Hi Mark, Speiss,

I'm moving into a new home shortly and I'd love to get some feedback from you both on how the Lightwave products are working? In particular how are you both getting on with using the android application to control you various devices? I'm mainly interested in getting the Web Link to connect to my modem and then try out the Wi Fi dimmer switch to control the spot lighting in the house. I know there have been some issues with LED compatibility so I need to find out which ones work best with the WiFi dimmer switch. @Mark have of you had any experience using LED's since the thread was last active?

Would appreciate any feedback you guys have as I want to make sure I make the right decision on this investment so I don't have to switch systems down the line.

    Cheers,

    Fergal
