Selling for parts?

So my 2002 Focus is dead.

It was the most comfortable car I've ever driven, and the most troublesome car I've ever owned.

It has alloy wheels, USB stereo, Parrot hands free, and various decent bits. Engine is skrewed though it seems.

Any point of me attempting to sell it for parts?

    Thanks for any advice here.

Maybe, do you have somewhere to keep it while you sell parts (might take months).

If you know you're way around a car and know what parts are called I don't see why not. Obviously you need space but even a shed will do.

Strip the car of what parts are worth a few quid and get a wrecker to take the chassis.

I've no spare space so selling parts separately would be practically impossible for me.

I guess I could only sell it as a whole, and get less than it's worth.

    Feck it.

Got it back today. It's been overheating and cutting out. three mechanics later, nobody knows how to sort it out.

Temp sensor replaced. pressure tested. Coolant replaced.

Its running fine with thermostat removed but that's not ideal obviously.
