    You get what you pay for, simple as.;)

    Ever wonder why a Miele or Samsung costs €1000.
    Miele has a 25 year guarantee.
    Thor is exclusive to DID, I think, same way as Finlux is exclusive to Harvey Norman.
    If you're just doing 2/3 washes a week and don't overload it, it will last for 4-6 years.
    Don't treat the door (hinge and lock) roughly or the selector controls/buttons as if they are tractor controls.:D

    thor is the same brand as powerpoint and supplied by shomar maybe best to avoid it and go with a beko which is better or a 6 kg 1200 spin zanussi which retails around 259

    Thank to everyone. Going for a Beko. The water is full of lime where we live and even though we have a salt system, its very hard on appliances like a washine machine. Cheers !

    try a wpro magnetic anti limescale device its 20 euro and could help with the lime

    6kg zanussi is the same machine as the thor rebadged,
    zwg models all chinese and a few are turkish
    None of the Zanussi's are Chinese anymore, they stopped those. Most are coming out of Poland now.
