Hey I have a MBA and for a very long time its had this blotch of white pixels on the screen. Its never bothered me but as my warranty will expire soon I thought I would get it checked out.

Its always visible but most notably with white back ground.

Anyone ever had a similar problem?

Will be up in Dublin shortly and thinking of going to CompuB Dundrum Shopping Centre as speaking on the phone to Apple they said I could drop in it there.

    Thx

    Hi Brian

I've seen the same kind of distortion on a HP laptop I owned 5 or 6 years ago. I was never told what it was but they did replace the screen under the warranty. If you do a quick search online it seems to be a common problem across manufacturers. A few people have recommended massaging the screen gently with your finger to get the pixels working again. But if your MBA is still covered by Apple then maybe it's best to let them deal with it!
