Been trying to upgrade now for a while and have decided to go for The Cannondale. I need a 58cm frame but have unable to locate any in Ireland. Would rather go, see the bike and test ride if possible. Preferably new. Anyone have one and care to share a review?

I did. Available there but about €300 more expensive that what I've seen elsewhere.

Great frame. Try Cycleways in Dublin ( Irish distributor ) or Westbrook cycles in UK. Also Primera Sports or Scotby Cycles in UK....

Have the 2013 model since may (Sorry 52cm frame built up with sram) but can definitely recommend it. i can compare it to the standard 6 carbon model (ultegra) and the supersix model which i also own and prefer it to both of these models.

It is astonishingly light and has become a favourite for lightweight builds among the weight weenie world.

I got mine built up by ordering the frame from westbrook cycles as linked above

I also ride a CAAD 10 with Sram Rival components that I installed onto the frame myself. The components came from my previous bike, which is the SuperSix :).

Interesting thing is that I bought the CAAD 10 as my commuter / winter / whatever you call it, a secondary bike to the SuperSix. But after I put the wheels and all components from the SuperSix onto the CAAD (I just hated the Shimano 105 stuff), I am not looking back and decided not to rebuild the CF SuperSix with new components. The CAAD now does everything while being my only bike and it has been almost two years since I ridden the SuperSix, which was at the time one of the best bikes in its class.
I think that the aluminium Cannondale has more "soul" than its CF frame brother.

By the way, my bike is size 54cm, but if you wish to have a look at it or test ride it, you are welcome.

Thanks for the feedback lads. Pretty much confirms my choice then. What wheelset are you using with it? I'm torn between these two.
    Mavics
    Fulcrums

I use Mavics, but if I was to get a new wheelset for that price, I would forget about it and go custombuilt :).

also cycle a 56 caad 10, brilliant bike for the money, id recommend it over any other bike in the same price range alu or carbon! bought mine from westbrook cycles uk, great company to deal with, one thing i did notice was that the caad 10 56 felt slightly larger than some of the other 56 frames ive tried

I'm impressed with all the positive posts above about the caad10, any of ye racing the caad10 on a regular basis in open races or club leagues?? I know it's weight is inline with many carbon frames but from a stiffness and responsiveness point of view how does it compare to carbon??

Was in Cyclesuperstore on Wednesday, they have a few Cannondales there, not sure what sizes or models, might be worth a look,

If you're thinking of the Mavics, check out here - linky

I've just ordered a set and the postage is only 30 euro more which makes them way cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Offer is only for this week I think...
