Trying to set up my NUIG email account on my android phone. It was working fine but since the update they've done the last month or so it won't work at all!!

I deleted it and started again and now when trying to set it up through the "exchange" option it tells me my username/password is wrong? Even though I know 100% its right because when I log in through the computer its working fine.

Is anyone else having problems? :(

I had problems with my staff account, clearing the cache was what I was told to do but in the end that still didnt work and ended up going to ISS about two more times till it was fixed..best bet is to go there id say

I just bought my first Android today and am trying to set it up. I remember going to ISS with the same problem with an iPad last year and their response was "contact Microsoft, we don't deal with that here". Like... what?!

Yep, the student mail is outsourced. Still absolute madness that they wouldn't even provide assistance.

Yeah that switch of service last month made a right cock of things alright, I was away from my computer for a good while earlier this month and was wondering why the Exchange service I had integrated with my iOS devices wasn't connecting to the server.

Had to get out the laptop to sort it out, logged into my NUIG mail on the new Office 365 site and it told me that my password had expired, I changed it and then had edited the password settings on my iOS devices to the new password and it started working again. I suggest you give that a try and see if it does anything for you, let us know if it does.

Yeah Naliz, I did change my password on the laptop once I got the expiry notice. I then deleted my exchange account on my phone. Tried to set it up again using my new password and apparently its incorrect. meh. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Mail Server name has changed from outlook.com to pod51002.outlook.com. That's what the issue was with my iPhone

log into mail.office365.com manually and press options on the top right. In the options menu there is a setting you can select and it tells you the server settings you need to use for your phone.
