If you want to get the price down to €800 go with an fx6300 processor + Asrock 970 extreme 3 board and a 212 evo cpu cooler combo. The 3 of those cost less than the 4670k does on it's own. A 6300 has more than enough power for gaming for the foreseeable future especially overclocked to 4.5ghz+. €150 saved there.

I'd change the monitor to this as well. You could go with the 22" version if you want to save another €25.

The system power 7 costs less and is more efficient.

Would be around €850 with those changes anyway.

I ordered the 23" model of the LG this morning. It was only about £4 more expensive: £108 (~€125)

They're out of stock now (there was only a handful left) but they were also out of stock yesterday -- I imagine Amazon restocks very quickly.

Edit: And the point I meant to make is that you can go bigger than 22" for a negligible price increase.

It's a great monitor but the picture is deceptive. The image doesn't fill the screen to the edge as shown.

There is a 1cm or so black border on the screen. Blatant false advertising.

The visible screen is probably really 22" taking that into account as well.

Ah I see. Still, it's worth the price of a pint for a bit more screen.
