Bought it 'as seen' and'in perfect condition' when I got it home tried to turn on the radio, no power

The seller swore blind it worked a couple of days previously...inclined to believe her

Pulled it out and there are two scarth like connections going in and then a round one on the other side so its connected ok..

What can I do to fix it? Any help much appreciated!

...if it makes a difference a new battery was put in night before I bought it...

It might do. Is it asking you for a code or is it just dead?

Is it one of the ones where a panel with four of the six numbered buttons can be removed? If so, it might be a loose connection in the contacts behind that panel. Try pushing the panel in on one or both sides and turning on the radio.

Its completely dead. It is the one with button panel.

I've tried removing connections at the back and reconnecting again..no joy. I even have the key code but just can't get the thing to turn on...

    Fuse?

Is that just under the dash to the right of the steering wheel?
