So who do you think should get the title this year ?

Do you see anyone else in the mix apart from Tiger and Scott.
Think if Dufner or Rose win one of the remaining events they could be in it as well.

I'm debating as it stands if it should go to Tiger or Scott.
Tigers multiple wins vs Scotts major and barclays win ... tough choice...
in Saying that, what Tiger has achieved this year is pretty spectacular.

Scott for me, not his biggest fan (the missus is however, I wonder why, the handsome devil ;) ) but I think I'd have given it to him even without the Barclays.
Jordan Speith worth a mention too.

I've always been a big fan of Scott since the beginning ...
Jordan Speith is some player, I think he's going to have alot of wins in the next few years ... along with John Huh I think.

I can't see it going to anyone though that hasn't won a Major, or Tiger.

Has to be Tiger for me, 5 wins, T-4th at the Masters, T-6th at Open, tied second to Scott in the Barclays when clearly was in no condition to play golf.

Along with that he has regained his World Number One position in spectacular style.

    Mickelson has also been brilliant!

    Leftie for me.
To follow up the heartbreak of the US open with the Open victory he had was such a joy to watch.
Every week there is a highlight reel of his iron play, nearly done it again at the Barclays with his late birdie run.

    Id agree with the above

Hmmm, don't really know who I'd give it to.
I'd say Tiger will win it though.

But then how can player of the year not have won one of the majors ?

For consistency and performances above and beyond what could have been expected, I'll go left field and say Jordan Speith. Obviously he hasn't a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but there you go ! :D

    Isn't this pretty irrelevant?

Name the last 3 players of the year, I can't!!!
    And I don't care.

Tiger should get it,but Jordan Spieth would be my pick just because he done so well this year

Lol why do posters insist on declaring their disinterest..why even bother?

Mickleson for me..performance in the us open and obvioulsy the Open win...class act and none more deserving imo.

do you think he's consistent enough though !

I think consistency has a big role to play in who wins it.

Has been pretty good this year but has really stepped it up since finishing 3rd in the Wells Fargo.

Also Phil started the year at 22 in the World rankings, he is now back to 3 and nobody bar Tiger has picked up more World Ranking Points than Phil this season!

I think it will be Tiger unless Mickelson wins the Fedex Cup.

Stinson has been great, no question, but it's hard to suggest someone who might go well.
