Repeating The Simpsons, Sabrina the teenage witch and Fr Ted 3 million times per year, Giving katherine lynch one faiiled "comedy" after another. What kind of public service broadcasting is that ?

I think they should cancel RTE 2 and replace it with the No Exaggeration Channel.

I cant remember the last time i watched something on RTE 1, 2, TV3 or TG4. Soaps, repeats and bad holiday shows seems to be all thats ever on when i go through the sky guide.

I'd (sometimes) find rte2 quite entertaining in the evening.
Yes they repeat a lot but it would put a lot of people's noses out if they were to drop rte2 and play the stuff that is good from it on rte1.

Off the top of my head, love/hate, Republic of telly....

Okay I can't think of anymore.

I'll go stand in the corner of shame.

Complaining about The Simpsons & Fr Ted repeats? RTE2 would be better off if that's all they showed tbh

I'd be happy if they just turned RTE into a news channel with current affairs programmes in the evening. The Simpsons, Father Ted et al are shown on other tv channels that most of us now have. TV3 will take the sporting programmes.

Can you all shut up & pay your €160 poll tax to keep those 2,000 workers in nepotism based employment.

Its not easy managing 3 channels with nearly 20 hrs of daily content each with just 2000 staff.

I'd like to see you all devote the majority of airtime to purchased-in content while still maintaining over 2000 staff..... On a mere 300 million per annum

No thanks. I'd rather them on TG4. At least they wouldn't **** up
