    Does such a thing exist in this country? If so where can you get one and how well does it work ? Am surprised how slow this seems to be taking off in this country !!

    Not interested in DAB too localised for my opinion lol , I struggle away with I phone tune in and 3G as I drive around .

    The attempt to launch a European equivalent of Sirius/XM (1worldspace) failed and ended up taking down their Asian/African arms with it.

    Its a huge cost to get something like the US system going - as well as the multi-million satellites, there's serious amounts of ground based repeaters required for urban areas.

    I will need to get the info on this but about 2 years ago but I read a report where ESA and other past life sats could be used, even if their orbits have been slightly degraded.
