or failing that, a good audi dealership in the same area thats (hopefully) reasonable value.

I need to get the front right side wiped blade changed, I went to advanced pitstop and they changed left and right, left was fine but right kept leaving water in a spot on the windscreen and in fairness to them they tried for ages to sort it but couldnt, so they put the old one back on. They said the rubber was probably lighter. Have my test in a couple of weeks and the right side one still isnt great so looking to sort it before the test.

Also, the motor on the rear wiper is gone I think, so any idea how much that costs to fix?

    Cheers.

    2004 a3 1.6 btw

You will need to change the entire wiper arm (I mean the entire arm not the arm containing the blade) to solve the problem with it missing a spot on the screen. It is a very common problem with them.

    Cheers for the info.
Iirc you are audi yourself? Where are you based and would this be something you could have a look at this week?
If not, can you recommend someone on the south side of dublin.

    Thanks for assistance.
    Terry.

We are an hour away from you unfortunately (Co Laois)

I don't know of anyone in your area but I'm sure some other posters will be able to recommend someone to you :)

    Cool, no worries.
Would you be open Saturday as I could drop down then if it could be done then along with the rear wiper issue (that would be worth the trip with the test coming up!)
    If not, no hassle!

It gets stuck all the time, I thought it might be the rubber but had that changed and no joy.
Let me know if u can do that and if so ill be down. Cheers :-)

    Hey George,

That reminds me.. I still need to get down to you with this "rattle". Only got her back this week after getting a few other bits done under the warranty, but I'll be passing that way on Saturday too.

Will I drop in or are you booked up?

    Hi Ian,

I might have a slot for you but I won't know until closer to the weekend. One of the jobs I have booked in it is looking increasingly unlikely that the parts for that job will be here in time so if they don't show up then I will be able to fit you in.

Cheers.. drop me a PM when you have a better idea and if it's anytime before/around lunchtime I'll drop in if you are free.

    Thanks as always :)
