After his van sold a bit quicker than expected my brother is in a bit of a rush to buy a new car, He test drove this yesterday evening and seems pretty set on it:

From the pics it looks ok, Spec is basic but it's the car he wants and within budget.

My biggest concern is that the dealer has it advertised on donedeal for €500 less but without the warranty.

I cant get off work to go up to Dublin and check it over for him so if anyone either spots anything in the advert that i've missed or knows the car/dealer, some advice wold be greatly appreciated.

car looks nice - obviously bring a mechanic along to check it out. Probably look to get a good bit off the price.

A little pricey based on spec ,mileage and year. I would expect that car for between 6 to 7K

That's what I was thinking as well, a bit steep but looks the part.

As I said I cant get up to take a look at it with him, any recommendations on someone local to get to check it out?

If this is genuine then it's better value imo:

More reliable 1.9 TDi engine that can easily be remapped to similar bhp as the 2.0 TDi. Higher spec and a year younger too.
