Gopro camera lens

    Hi guys
    Iv scratched my camera lens on my gopro hero 3 is there anybody out there that replace them in Ireland ???

    As far as I know your screwed. The aftermarket lenses on ebay aren't the same as the lens thats in it and don't all fit into the waterproof case again. You could try a jeweller to look at polishing the scratch out?

    Haven't heard of anyone in Ireland fitting the Rage lenses to gorpo's and its mad money to have them do it for you.

    You would need to do a good pit of research on it.

    If it was a hero 2 I think they just screw out and replace easily.

    I read this yesterday, by chance, and could have sworn I saw one but couldn't remember where. Went into a local camera shop today to pick up some prints, and sure enough, Hero 3 replacement lens kit. GoPro must have put them out recently, as I hadn't seen them before.

    That was Whelans in Limerick, but I'm sure it's available online if its there.

    Im assuming its the lens on the camera and not the lens on the case
