Can anyone tell me the range of price a website such as

    http://www.youngentrepreneur.com/

Would cost to develop and design, need to know a rough price as I plan on using a freelance site, so don't wanna get ripped off.

What you want is a Content Managment System, or maybe more specifically a Web CMS.

If you are going to pay someone, pay someone to show you how to use one of these; then not only will you be able to make that website, you will also be able to update it. If you don't need it updated, then paying someone to do it will likely depend on the amount of data, as that website you linked is just a standard blog type site.

You will likely find easy and short tutorials on you tube on how to use a CMS to make a website like www.youngentrepreneur.com. It was made with WordPress.

Hi getsome. Onemorechance is quite right in saying that it's built using Wordpress.

In this case, it looks as if they've had a custom theme built but - depending on your needs - you may be able to get by with one of the commercially available themes from a site like themeforest or woothemes. Have a look at both of those sites and see if there is something that you like and, if so, you should be able to find someone to set up for you reasonably cheaply.

If you require something more bespoke, then just be aware that there are pros and cons of using freelance websites. You will inevitably get a better price sending it to India or the Philippines, but it is a lot more difficult to hold someone accountable if you have issues down the line. Also, a lot of web developers here won't touch something that's been badly built so you can end up paying a lot more in the long run if you want to make changes.

The other thing to think about is that a good designer/developer will go through the project with you, highlighting potential issues and help you to refine your business model whilst providing a modern design which will resonate with your audience. When outsourcing to a freelance site, you're very much on your own and they will simply build what you ask them to. Of course, times are hard still so if your budget is minimal and you simply require a web presence of some kind, this could indeed be the way to go.

PM me if you would like to chat further about it.

    Joe
