Tonights Moon?

Lads,its my first time posting here and I know almost nothing about Astronomy. What is going on with the moon tonight? Its orange and I can see all the craters. It looks like Mars,can someone enlighten me?

At times, various atmospheric conditions can make the moon look orange, particularly around this time of year and Spring also. You can see a handful of craters, but most of what you're looking at are 'seas', actually ancient volcanic lava flows. Nothing strange going on, don't worry
