Back taxing a uk import?

    I imported a car 2 months or so ago, havent really driven it, due to being out of the country and still have my second car which is still taxed and insured,

    So I was planning on taxing it from the September, but don't really want to pay the back tax for the few months it wasnt being used. But I can I do this with the new taxing system?

    Well nothing's changing to the system as far as you're concerned till October.
