Hi lads, Just wondering would anyone be able to help me out & be able to give me some answers. I was driving my octavia last Fri & I heard a crating kind of noise coming from under the bonnet & the car dropped power, it sounded like something was grating. I turned the engine off & checked under the bonnet everything looked ok, I got no warning lights on the dash etc. I started the car again & drove home about 2 miles, i kept the revs down but when I got to my home I heard the noise again. I looked under the bonnet & there was oil dripping out the right hand side of the engine between the block & the head & out one of the leads on the front of engine, also there was oil out the roundy thing that sits behind the top of the engine ( sorry I don't know the name for it lol). The engine is starting & there is no knocking noise, any ideas as to what it could be??:rolleyes:
