Delay in payment from State Exams Commission

    This was my third year superintending the exams and I was on until the 21st of June. I rang the State Exams Commission at the end of July to inquire about when I was to be paid, and I was told it would be the last week in August. I rang them up again this morning and have now been told it will be mid to late September. I'm going to be living on an absolute shoestring until then. What a complete farce.

    I got paid for my supervision. Still waiting on the payment for marking my students practicals though....

    Woodwork or ag science?

    They normally don't make those payments until about october. It's always a surprise to see a random cheque in Irish come from SEC for about €20 after tax and then it dawns on me what it is for. Although it's probably by transfer to bank account now.
