First year in a long time went to the mart in June, where usually we'd hold them to 30 mths in August and sell to factory agent. Was short grass in early summer so we sold the best half of the cattle in the mart. Made around 200 quid a head more than last year at factory. One heifer went over 1600. Will be doing this from now on, someone else can spend a fortune on nuts for them.
