I think it's also worth pointing out that this TV is "only" 720p as well (fine for HD Tv and consoles, not as good for PC games or Blu Ray).

Ye should have said. At 32" and watching tv 720p v 1080p is a non issue as you only begin to notice a difference 37"-39" and up for those who wouldn't know the difference. If you were looking to play PC games on it I'd probably advise against buying this tbh.

I was looking at this last night. Can someone explain wifi tv to me, is it just you can run apps and widgets, but you can't actually browse the Internet using chrome or other browser?

Picked this up on Amazon after viewing instore in a couple of bricks and mortars. Cheapest I could find instore was €400. Amazon have it for just under €335 in black. Not the biggest for some people but exactly what I needed.

Any chance of posting what you think of this TV when you get it, am torn between this and the f5000 but with the f4500 now at that price it looks the better buy, thanks in advance.

Will let you know once I receive it and have it up and running.

@username123 - The advantage of wifi tv I suppose is that you can access online rte player and any other catch up services and then you have the likes of facebook/twitter etc if that's your thing (not personally for me).

So I got this tv, Id be interested to know what others think of it, and what they are using it for (in terms of apps etc..).

So far Ive just set up the upc, got onto my wifi network and used the youtube app and used it with my laptop and hdmi cable to watch a film.

The only issue so far is the sound isnt brilliant. Its not awful but I live in an apartment and if the washing machine is going in the kitchen, I need to be able to turn the tv right up to hear over it - so I may need to get speakers to counteract this.

Other than that I am very pleased. It actually doesnt look any bigger than my 26" tv because the frame is so narrow. Picture quality is excellent.

I would have to say the same thing with the sound - I have problems when fan is on (have tv in kitchen) .... I would also like to have feedback from others re apps etc

Only got round to setting this up in the last couple of days.

Picture quality is pretty good compared to other high end models I've had. I've only viewed cable on this so far, I've not played any blu-ray movies so I'll need to update.

Size wise it is quite small for a 32" but that is down to the fact there's so little visible framing which I do like.

Sound is good in my opinion, it could be better but at the price I paid I think it performs quite well.

Just back to the sound, it may have just been a one off, I was watching something online through the hdmi, I haven't noticed an issue other than that.

Just to add to that, the sound is pretty good having watched a movie and about half an hour of tv last night.

When watching videos through youtube the sound wasn't as good but I'd put that down to the content as opposed the tv itself.

Postage was free and cost me €334 all in. Happy with my purchase, hope everyone else enjoys it too.

I picked this up which is the F5000 version of this TV.

Argos - Samsung UE32F5000 32 Inch Full HD 1080P Freeview HD LED TV

A little bit more expensive than the one in this thread, but its full 1080p, which I prefered over the "smart" option, as I dont really see the need for it when I have a Laptop that connects to the TV through HDMI.

Image quality is excellent, sound is perfect.

I've played PS3 (a bit of messing with the settings to get the perfect look) and HD Movies through my Laptop, very impressed with the quality, having owned a Samsung 720p 32" before that.

Extremely light (I carried it home from Argos), and only after I bought it did I read the REVIEWS on Amazon for this model, which are all extremely positive.

Very happy with my purchase, and if you want a better quality image, plus future proofing (PS4/Xbone both 1080p as standard) then I'd recommend this.

Have used a HD Samsung for several years now, and I can't fault them in anyway, main TV is a 37" 1080p Philips, next purchase will be a Samsung for the main room.

Thanks for the informative post, have been looking at both this and the TV mentioned in the thread for a while now but reckon the smart features would just be a novelty plus the f5000 is a good bit cheaper on Amazon, your review has made up my mind, going to buy this now :)

the sound being low and kind of muffly is a common problem with sansung tv's.

Yeah, it's been fine since, maybe it was just the content I was watching.
