Media & Nua-Ghaeilge NUIM?

I'm only doing my leaving cert this year and want to do Media, Nua-Ghaeilge and Maths in NUIM next year.
I only want to do this though if its possible to carry on with Media and Irish and drop Maths as it says on the website you cannot continue on with Irish!
Would anybody know if this is true or not?

If you cannot take them together in second year it means that the timetables will clash or something, so if it says in the prospectus that it can't be done, then it can't be done

Cannot be combined with
Accounting, Chinese Studies, French, Greek and Roman Civilization, Medieval Irish and Celtic Studies, Mathematical Physics, Psychology

Media can't be combined with Medieval Irish & Celtic Studies, which is Old Irish. You're fine if you want to do Nua-Ghaeilge

Having checked the Media course page (here: http://www.nuim.ie/courses/?TARGET=QS&MODE=VIEW&QUALIFICATION_CODE=MEDST&YEAR=2014&TARGET_SOURCE=CS), Nua-Gaeilge is an option for second year so you should be alright but maybe throw the dept an email to double check. Things may have changed for future years.
