Are there any two week or one week mini courses in Trinity for secondary school students? Like the ones in DCU where TY students get to have the taste on areas such as psychology. Sorry if this question has already been asked, i'm a bit all over the place at the moment trying to sort out my work experince.

    Thanks! :)

I only know of one week long course for Physics, I'm not sure about other courses though. It fills up fairly quickly.

I sent a message to the head of the school of maths just to follow someone around for the day, I enjoyed it and it was a day off school

I don't know of any organised ones, but if there's something specific you're interested in you could try emailing the course coordinator and ask if you could sit in on a few lectures.

Last year we got a couple of emails from the maths department asking if we'd be willing to show a student around for the day. I'd say emailing the department is your best bet.

I did one with the CS department during Transition Year. IIRC they run them out of the "Bridge to College" building in Dunlop Oriel House on Lincoln Place.

Worth sending an email to Admissions or the individual department you're interested in to see.

Right, does anyone know how I could get into contact with a course coordinator of any course? :) Thanks for all the help.

I did mine in the School of Pharmacy and thoroughly enjoyed it. Biochem. has something aswell and I'm nearly sure that zoology runs a programme too.

School of Chemistry runs ones as well.
