What's a good look on a night out? I was thinking of buying a blazer with a plain coloured t-shirt inside it and jeans. Although I don't know what jeans to go for.

What do ye think? Early 20's male here. ;)

Depends where you're going really, if it's just an ordinary club most guys wear chinos (burgundy and beige are the most popular colours). Jeans are still popular but imo jeans aren't as flattering or as dressy. They're usually paired with just a t-shirt or shirt.
If it's something more fancy or if you're going to be outside all night bring a blazer, otherwise you'll just end up paying for a cloakroom unnecessarily as no one wears blazers in clubs. Can't go wrong with a nice-fitting black blazer.

I wouldn't be bothered with a blazer to be honest, it's a bit formal although that can depend on the material in the blazer in fairness.

Chinos or jeans are fine and you can't really go wrong with a plain t shirt. Unless they're the deep v-neck ones, then you can go very very wrong. Hideous. Jeans: so long as you stay away from ones that are very baggy or very skinny (slim fit or boot cut are usually the best) and not acid washed/very pale colour then you can't go too wrong.

Jacket-wise, a plain bomber or non-shiny leather jacket is usually fairly nice.

Look at sites like asos for tips, they often have nice looks put together.

Blazer? Or sports jacket. Blazers are different (think navy blue with gold buttons, Roger Moore style). A sports jacket is what people often call blazers these days.
Avoid slim jeans. They are a current fad and look bad now and will look worse in photos a couple of years in the future. Straight leg or boot cut are more timeless. IMO of course.

Oops. Forgot thread title. I'm not a woman, by the way.

A blazer, like a suit jacket but light? Hmmm.
