Looking to hear feedback from 1st time drivers getting their 1st policy and having to do pre cover assessment with the Insurance Co nominated assessor.
Have you passed. 1st time and been offered the initial quote?
Has the offer been held until further training was done?

I got my first insurance policy a couple of months ago... March I think.

I never heard of a 'pre-cover assessment' until now. Sounds like a bad thing!

Yeah, I got my first insurance on my provisional just before the April bank holiday weekend. Had nothing like a pre-cover assessment. All I had to do was get a certificate from my instructor declaring that I had 10 lessons done.

I got my first cover in July and didn't have to do anything like that
