    Hi all

I'm looking for advice. Just trying to get and pick up the best oil (5L) for my Mazda 5 (1.8 petrol) with the lowest cost of it (any promotions?) and have few brands: Valvoline, Castrol Edge or Magnatec, Mobil 1, Gulf, North Sea Wave Power. Mazda recommend Dexelia Ultra/Plus oil which is really expensive on ebay. I was in few workshops and prices starts from as 28 up to 55.

    Thanks

Be careful as you can't just find the cheapest 5w30, you have to get the one specced for your car, you'll have to find that out and find that specific oil.

For example I have to find the 5w30 that is compatible with bmw's LL04 constraints and get that one, it just happens to be the dearest one!

I'm not sure what one you need but is be sure your looking at finding a Ford constraint as that would be the engine manufacturer for your car.

Ford recommend Castrol as the workshops different brands. The best would be Dexelia (as per Mazda website)

No you're misunderstanding me, not manufacturers but think of these as sub grades of 5w30.
There are a number of different grades of 5w30 and you must get the right one.
Each manufacturer has set rules that the oil must achieve and you must have the right oil in your car.
