Did Lee Harvey Oswald kill Kennedy?

Now that we're nearly 50 years on what's the opinion here in Ireland?

The Warren commission didn't draw a conclusive line that was satisfactory to the public. The stories that float around today vary, some say the 'Chicago Outfit' (Mafia) had him put to death because of Bobby's interference into organised crime as Attorney General. (Considering the rumour was that they set the crucial vote in a tight Presidential election because Joe worked with them through the Irish Mob in Prohibition and extorting Hollywood Movie Studios in the 20s and 30s)

I never bought that angle for a second, the mob would never risk bringing that kind of heat upon themselves. There was a code too that you stay away from police, politicians and lawyers.

The other main theory is that his own government did him in? Is that a possibility? The 'Zapruder film' which captured the assassination in full seems to show bullets coming from two separate angles.

Do you think that Oswald was the sole gunman and just some loon who decided to kill the President or was there more to it?
