Volunteering In Conservation

Im planning to go abroad to do some work in conservation, Thinking South Africa, Thailand and mabye Cambodia, looking into other options too.

Just wondering if other people here have done it and going give some advice?

I'm not long back from a month of conservation related volunteer work in South Africa. I went with Wildlife ACT and I must say I loved every minute of it. I can't recommend them highly enough and am hoping to return myself next year.

Why not volunteer in Ireland?

Tanzania and the Congo are also great places to volunteer. Unfortunately the congo is getting increasingly difficult to get to and you'll find it hard to get insurance to go there.
