Feedback on Carpet Suppliers- Dublin

Been shopping for carpet for a stairs and landing, and a main bedroom. We got quotes from Des Kelly and TP Matthews, and though they work out equally in cost, the carpets from Des Kelly would be better quality (I think, virgin carpet buyer.)

The salesperson in TP Matthews acknowledged that they charge more for fitting and underlay, but told us that their fitters are more experienced and that the underlay is of a better quality, hence the price difference. Has anyone any insight on both shops fitting service, or is he talking guff?

We went looking for that place earlier based on an earlier recommendation by yourself on Boards. Couldn't find it and ended up in Des Kelly's. :o

Drive up past Des Kellys and Chadwicks..they will be on your right hand side as you drive past.

At the T-Junction,turn right and then drive all the way down to the very end of that road.

Then swing a left into the large court yard area and you will see BedsPlus/Carpet Cut.

Theres also a glazing company and a kitchen makers too.

I can only say we dealt with them in 2010 and they listened to our needs and gave us what we wanted etc. No complaints.
