Taller than standard kitchen cabinets

Does anybody know where you can get kitchen cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling?

The ceiling height is 8.5 feet.

I want to get rid of that gap between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling as this will increase my storage space and get rid of the mucky grease that's up there at the moment.

I don't want a bespoke kitchen (too expensive).

If you want to stay with standard sizes then you can go with 900mm wall units, these are 180mm taller than usual wall cabinets . It will give your cabinets a finished height (assuming you have full height units) of 2300mm
(90.5", 7ft 6.5").
If there are no full height units in your layout then by all means bring your units up to the ceiling but just be conscious of accessibility into these cupboards.

If you decide to go with the 2.3meter finished height then you can either panel up to the ceiling with panels in the same finish as your kitchen or use MDF and paint it the same colour as walls or ceiling. Your carpenter should not charge too much to do this.

I used Kitchenwise and they gave me the 900 cabinets and did not charge any extra.
