    error message on printer shows ink cartridge required ..two colours.
    full Epson cartridge bought all replaced ..still error cartridge message
    still looking for two to be replaced ...despite full cartridge's replaced???why

    can the printer be "reset to factory settings"?

    Anyone every come across this?

    Did you press the "ink" button so that cartridges moved into its release position?

    Or did you move it by hand?

    Are the chip heads on the cartridges clean?

    I've read the manual thoroughly and there's no mention of a reset for that model.

    Thks for that.its a relations printer. Yes I pressed ink button to move it ... It then showed me that two colours require changing ... Despite brand new cartridges being installed. I don't know what the chip heads are ..I will find out and check that next many thks
