    Not an expert, but most people I talk to tell me to get an Intel processor.

    It's no good. ;)

    The AMD A6 is actually slower than the current mobile Intel Celeron processors and for the price (£330/€384) you'll get some Intel Core i3 laptop elsewhere (try saveonlaptops.co.uk or laptopsdirect.ie).

    Rule of thumb: the processor is the most important criterion, RAM or hard drive can easily be upgraded if required.
