Can I get a Toll tag for my motorcycle, if so how much do they cost and are they reliable. Have seen recent warnings from eflow.ie telling motorcyclists not to use them because of barriers not lifting. I'm going to be using the M3 toll every day from September and will be pushed for time so I really need one....advice please:)

You should do what a load of bikers did as a protest in the UK on one of the bridges. A big group went to each booth. Each rider stopped their bike, took off gloves, took wallet out, gave £20 to the cashier, put change back in wallet, put gloves back on, start bike and move ahead. Took several hours for them to get through and I've no idea if the toll was removed.

    TL:DR

Don't worry about the person in the car behind you. Take your time.

Exactly....get off your bike, gloves off, get your wallet out, present your €20 note, and also ask for a receipt.......back on with the gear and off you go...5 mins later ....after several complaints from motorists thay might change their minds....;)

Not on M4/M6, not on Limerick Tunnel, no.

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Would be a shame if they left room at the end of the barrier for a bike to get around.

If bikers cant find out this little treasure on their own they should not be on a FRICKIN BIKE!

It's €3 to go through the tunnel. Silly, should also be free.

Once I went through the tunnel from airport into city and if you take the far left lane the barrier does not stretch all the way so a bike can get through easy. I just whizzed by - but a loud alarm went off. I just kept going and never heard anything...

Most annoying thing about the toll bridge in Waterford is that you can only use the cashier booth. I have driven up the "car only" lane, forgetting they won't let bikes through, pressed the help button to see if they'll lift the barrier but they always refuse, make you turn around and go back against traffic and drive around to the cashier booth. I don't understand why they won't let bikes through the other lanes.
