    Hello

    I need to get travel insurance for a 71 day trip to Canada/USA. (will also be travelling to Aus/NZ in 2014, and visiting a good few places in Europe in early summer)

    Most annual policies are only for trips of 60 days or less
    Multi-trip policies only cover stays of up to 30 days.
    Backpackers policies are quite limited.

    could anyone direct me towards a company that can offer good annual insurance with longer trips allowed.

    If you are aged 18 to 35 years of, than AIG Direct Ireland offers an extended stay policy here which you can buy online.

    yeah, came across that one yesterday.

    travel insurance policies are quite limited in terms of conditions

    cheapest quote I got online was from Campion insurance, in Roscommon!
