so i've decided to repeat, i'll be a SEVENTH year.. wow. some people got to leave the school in five years and get into their number one choice of college and course. then theres me, who's only realising how much i want the college experience and what i want to do. i want to get away, but the only college that accepted me was LYIT and i honestly just dont want to go there. it's just too close to home and i want to get into a highly respected place. not that theres anything wrong with LYIT.. no offence to anyone who goes there. i didn't study until the last 2 months and i got 315, but failed maths. i'm really determined this year and want to go to QUB to study computer science and possibly physics. it requires 5 B2's or 4 B2's and 2 C2's. i'm not really interested in PLC's. do you think i'm utterly stupid for this decision or am i brave..? i've only turned 18, so age isn't a problem

p.s i'm dropping irish and taking up higher english after doing ordinary last year. thoughts on this? also i'm grade 5 RIAM on piano (doing grade 6 if i do it), so is taking higher music as a 7th subject a wise decision?

if your determined as you say then their should be no reason to not repeat especially since your already unhappy with the way things are going 1 year in the grand scheme of things isnt much man
