fast durable laptop for internet browsing

Looking to get a laptop mostly for internet, maybe watching films sometimes.

I want to get something that will last 3 or 4 years without breaking, has good battery and is fast. If it was lightweight that would be a plus.

No budget, but I dont want to pay for something that breaks down after 5 minutes.

Recommendations?

Buy a laptop with SSD, and not HDD. It's several times faster than platter drives, and HDDs are one source of potential failure on laptops that you keep for years.

No machine is immune to faults. However it budget isn't an issue then you could look into the ultrabook range.

if its got lithium polymer battery tech, then all the better. Samsung series 9 looks damn sexy but I also like the Zenbook for is solid construction
